Mahā Kumbabhishekam completed

On behalf of the Management & Trustees, we thank all our devotees and well-wishers for their overwhelming support extended to the Temple Organizing Committee in very successfully completing the Maha Kumbabhishekam of Sri Bhuvaneswari Hindu Temple on Feb 7, 2003. The event was preceeded by 4 days of Homa conducted by Preists from Canada and U.S.A. Vedic Chanting and traditional Nadhaswaram music were daily features of the 5-day event. The Maha Kumbabhishekam was attended by His Excellency Mr. Thomas W. Wappel, Member of Parliament for the Riding of Scarborough Southwest, who presented a commemorative message from the Prime Minister of Canada, His Excellency Jean Chrétien besides presenting Sri Bhaskara Gurukkal with a message of his own. Following the Maha Kumbabhishekam, Mandala Puja was conducted daily for 48 days. The Mandala Puja concluded on March 23, 2003 with special Abhishekam followed by bhajan and discourses by Sri Chaitanyananda Natha Saraswathy ('Aiya') of Sri Raja Rajeswari Peetam, Rush, NY, USA.
